Kui Buri National Park

Known to be the best wild elephant and gaur sighting spot in Thailand, it is almost 99% sure the visitors will see wild elephants any given day of the year in Kui Buri National Park’s wildlife watching area. Established as a national park in 1999, it covers 969 km² in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, about 85 km southwest of Hua Hin. The park mountains are part of the Tenasserim Hills Range, spanning over many protected areas in Thailand and Myanmar.

Kaeng Krachan National Park

Due to abundant year-round rainfall, Kaeng Krachan’s forest covers are blessed with several waterfalls, rivers and streams. Pa La-U Waterfall, one of the most well-known in the park, has 15 levels and flows along a creek stretching out to the Burmese border. Besides waterfall trekking, you can hire a boat, canoe or kayak and sightsee inside Kaeng Krachan reservoir.

Sam Roi Yot National Park

Khao Sam Roi Yot means “The mountain with three hundred peaks” and refers to a series of limestone hills along the Gulf of Thailand with the highest one at 605 meters asl. The main attractions of the national park are Phraya Nakhon Cave with its iconic royal pavilion and huge chamber, Kaeo Cave and Thung Sam Roi Yot Freshwater Marsh. The park is also a nice destination for its rich wildlife in freshwater marsh and mangrove forests, beautiful beaches, limestone islands, trails and viewpoints.
